Rocks, Bushes, and Grass Seed

Everything is done, now we just wait for the grass to grow. Today Tony and his crew finished up; they put black soil, bushes, weed blocker, and rocks in the planters and grass seed on the lawn. The "carpet" you see on the lawn is a biodegradable blanket to keep the seed moist, and there is a grid within it to help prevent erosion. By October the grass will be all grown in and as thick as our previous lawn. I don't even have to water it very much - the blanket will keep the moisture in. At the time this picture was taken, not all of the "carpet" was laid because they ran out of it. They came back a little while later to finish it. The bushes are mini bay berry and mini-evergreens. In the back by the laundry room window, they replanted the original bush that was there before the construction. An item to be added is the railing, which is on order. I need to figure out what to do with the downspout that it is not such an eye sore.
